Bringing Meaning to Literacy Measurement
The Lexile® Framework for Reading
The Quantile Framework for Mathematics is just one of the tools by MetaMetrics that bring more meaning to measurement. MetaMetrics also created the Lexile Framework for Reading. Like Quantile® measures, Lexile® measures determine reading ability based on actual assessments rather than generalized age or grade levels. MetaMetrics’ commitment to literacy also includes the The Lexile® Framework for Writing, an innovative tool for differentiating writing instruction, and El Sistema Lexile® para Leer, a developmental scale and measures to connect Spanish readers with the right resources.
